Some people have written me compaining that some of the facts are sexist. Especially certain driving laws in Tenessee. Well, to those people, I am not going to take those facts out of the list. I should like to point out that I am female and I'm not offended for one, and that these laws ARE fact. I do not make up any of these facts. In the case of many of the laws, I got them from actual law books. (my sister is in Criminology) just becasue a law is not enforced does not mean that it is not or was not at one time on the law books. Some extremely absurd laws are still on the books simply becasue local governments don't bother to do the paperwork to oficialy take them out, so law enforcement in that city is simply told to ignore them. Lighten up! This list is meant to be a source of amusement, afterall.
