well, I'm sure I can't tell you much new about Hercules.... there were storyboards everywhere for this movie, and lots of layout drawings. We saw the Zero to Hero bit in one of the videos while it was still not completed, no colour.
The production art for Hercules was extremely interesting. You can really see the Greek influence in the designs. There were sheets up showing the animators and cleanup artists what types of line to use to give the characters a Greek feel that went beyond the typical model-sheet. There were also pictures of Greek things, like columns, pots and statues to provide inspiration. Hera is based on an Ionic column (a tall, thin, fluted column with a decorated top)Megs hair at the ends always forms little a little curly cue design often depicted on Greek pots etc...
